Vets examines your pet, they look at vision and hearing, dental health, skin and hair coat, body condition, cardiovascular performance and asses other vital organs.

Vaccination

We provide wide range of vaccinations and shots for all the diseases, allergies and conditions your pet may have.

Preventative Healthcare – Fleas, Ticks and Worms

Prevention is our focus when it comes to fleas, ticks and worms, and choosing the right preventative measures can often be less costly.

Surgery

In our designated sterile operating theatre, animals will experience gold standard surgical care. From the moment they arrive at the hospital they will be made to feel secure in our surgical procedure.

Dental Care

Prevention is Vet-O’s approach to dental treatment. There are many products available to provide dental prophylaxis including those that can be chewed, drunk or eaten.

X-Rays & Ultrasound

X-ray allows vets to look at structure and shape of bone and soft tissue structures in your animal & ultrasound allows us to examin every organ in your pet's belly.

De-sexing - Spaying or Neutering

Usually includes the removal of the testicles for males and it may involve the removal of the ovaries and/or uterus females.

Dog Seizures

If your dog experiences abnormal behaviour it is often good to capture it with a smart phone to show your veterinarian.

Pet Euthanasia

We know how much pets mean to their owners and we try to make this time minimal stress.

Cat Boarding

A cat boarding facility exists on-site with premium quality care. We have plush bedding, extra-large litter trays and a smorgasbord of food options.

Grooming

Specialised grooming services for our feline friends or difficult dogs. We also perform belly or lion-clips for cats that may require anaesthetic or sedation.

Emergency Care and House Calls

Vet-O has an emergency contact number where a vet can be reached from 6 am to 10 pm.

Chris has graduated from University of Sydney and has worked at various vet clinics including North Shore Veterinary Specialist Centre, Hornsby Veterinary Hospital and Collaroy Vet. Chris started Vet-O Pet Services at Brookvale with the aim of providing competitively priced vet care with a strong customer service focus.

What are your Brookvale clinic opening hours?

We're open Monday to Friday 8:30am–6pm and 7pm–10pm, Saturday 8:30am–12:30pm, and Sunday 8:30am–12pm. For after-hours emergencies, please call our clinic number for recorded instructions on the nearest emergency hospital.

Do I need an appointment or do you accept walk-ins?

We recommend booking an appointment to minimise wait times, but we do our best to accommodate walk-ins and same-day urgent cases when possible.

Is there parking available near the clinic?

Yes, there's plenty of free street and off-street parking around the clinic, making it easy to visit from anywhere on the Northern Beaches.
