Preventative Healthcare – Fleas, Ticks and Worms

Prevention is our focus when it comes to fleas, ticks and worms, and choosing the right preventative measures can often be less costly.

Surgery

In our designated sterile operating theatre, animals will experience gold standard surgical care. From the moment they arrive at the hospital they will be made to feel secure in our surgical procedure.

Dental Care

Prevention is Vet-O’s approach to dental treatment. There are many products available to provide dental prophylaxis including those that can be chewed, drunk or eaten.

X-Rays & Ultrasound

X-ray allows vets to look at structure and shape of bone and soft tissue structures in your animal & ultrasound allows us to examin every organ in your pet's belly.

De-sexing - Spaying or Neutering

Usually includes the removal of the testicles for males and it may involve the removal of the ovaries and/or uterus females.

Dog Seizures

If your dog experiences abnormal behaviour it is often good to capture it with a smart phone to show your veterinarian.

Pet Euthanasia

We know how much pets mean to their owners and we try to make this time minimal stress.

Cat Boarding

A cat boarding facility exists on-site with premium quality care. We have plush bedding, extra-large litter trays and a smorgasbord of food options.

Grooming

Specialised grooming services for our feline friends or difficult dogs. We also perform belly or lion-clips for cats that may require anaesthetic or sedation.

Chris has graduated from University of Sydney and has worked at various vet clinics including North Shore Veterinary Specialist Centre, Hornsby Veterinary Hospital and Collaroy Vet. Chris started Vet-O Pet Services at Brookvale with the aim of providing competitively priced vet care with a strong customer service focus.

Absolutely. Microchipping is a quick and simple procedure that we can do during a regular consultation. It's one of the best ways to make sure your pet can be identified if they ever go missing.

What payment options do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards as well as cash. If your pet needs a larger procedure, ask us about payment plan options so you can spread the cost.

At what age should I get my puppy or kitten desexed?

We generally recommend desexing at around five to six months of age, but it can vary depending on the breed and size of your pet. Book a consultation and we'll talk through the best timing for your animal.
